# Disk Clean AI > Clean up your Mac: large files, duplicates, old apps and caches, plus the logs and models Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and Ollama leave behind. Free to download. Disk Clean AI is a macOS app (macOS 14+, Apple silicon and Intel). Its headline feature, AI Tools, measures what AI apps, coding agents and local models leave in the home folder and clears it: Claude Code session transcripts, rewind checkpoints, caches, debug and MCP logs and old versions; the Claude desktop app's caches, agent virtual machine and simulator builds; ChatGPT caches; OpenAI Codex sessions, prompt history, generated images and caches; Cursor and Windsurf caches and workspace state; Gemini CLI checkpoints; Ollama, LM Studio, Hugging Face, PyTorch, Whisper, llama.cpp, Draw Things, DiffusionBee and GPT4All models; and the npx/uvx caches MCP servers run from. Every item is tagged Cache, Logs, Old versions, History, Models or Runtime; caches, logs and old versions start selected, while history, models and runtimes are opt-in. Running apps are flagged. Seeing the sizes is free; cleaning them is part of Pro. It also scans a Mac's disk, draws it as sunburst, treemap, bubble, mind-map, icicle and age-map views, groups safe-to-remove clutter into "Quick Wins" (Downloads, caches and logs, Trash, large media, Xcode DerivedData, iOS simulators, node_modules, build folders), finds large files, exact duplicates (SHA-256), similar photos (perceptual hash), and unused apps with their leftover support files. An optional AI Advisor sends scan metadata only (paths, sizes, dates, types — never file contents) to a model through the user's own OpenRouter key and explains what each item is. Nothing is deleted without the user's approval; approved items go to the Trash. Pricing: free to download. The free version shows what each AI tool uses, scans any drive or folder, shows Sunburst, Top Sizes and List views, the Quick Wins, Large Files and Downloads, and cleans with one-click undo. Disk Clean AI Pro is a one-time $19 (launch price, usually $39) for up to 3 Macs and unlocks everything else: AI Tools cleanup, six more Explore views, duplicates, similar photos, the app uninstaller, the AI Advisor, System Tools and the menu-bar monitor, themes and custom settings. No subscription, no account. Disk Clean AI is closed source. ## Pages - [Home](https://diskcleanai.com): AI tools cleanup, features, how it works, pricing, FAQ - [Download for Mac](https://diskcleanai.com/downloads/DiskCleanAI.dmg): always the newest version - [Disk Clean AI Pro](https://diskcleanai.com/pro): what Pro adds, buying, and resending a lost license key - [Blog](https://diskcleanai.com/blog): practical Mac storage guides - [Other tools](https://diskcleanai.com/tools): every product from the same team - [Privacy policy](https://diskcleanai.com/privacy) - [Terms](https://diskcleanai.com/terms) - Support: hello@diskcleanai.com ## Blog posts - [How to Free Up Space Used by AI Tools on Your Mac (Claude Code, Codex, Ollama, Hugging Face)](https://diskcleanai.com/blog/free-up-space-ai-tools-mac): Where Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Ollama and Hugging Face keep sessions, caches and models on a Mac, what's safe to delete, and the commands that clear them.
